Recent Articles

The Recent Articles column fetches a journalist's latest published articles at the moment you run it. Real-time context for personalization - including articles published minutes ago.

How it works

  1. Add a Recent Articles column to your workflow
  2. Run the column on your journalist rows
  3. We search for recent articles by that journalist in real-time
  4. Results include article titles, publication dates, and URLs

What You Get

DataDescription
Article titlesHeadlines of their recent pieces
Publication datesWhen each article was published
URLsLinks to the full articles
Publication nameWhere the article appeared

Real-time freshness

Unlike static databases that update weekly or monthly, we pull live data:

  • Just published? If a journalist published an article a minute ago, you'll see it
  • Always current - no stale data from months-old database snapshots
  • Great for timely pitches - reference their latest work, not something from 6 months ago

Hand-matched, not mass-blasted

Feed Recent Articles into a Use AI column to generate pitch angles that reference their actual recent work. That's how you write 10 pitches that feel personal, not 1,000 that feel generic.

Example workflow

  1. Find Journalists - get a list of relevant journalists
  2. Run Recent Articles - pull their latest work
  3. Use AI - "Based on {{Recent Articles}}, suggest a pitch angle for our product launch"
  4. Outreach - send personalized emails referencing their actual coverage

Credit cost

Recent Articles consumes credits per row. The cost is shown in the column editor before you run.

Fewer, better

Filter to your top 10-20 candidates first, then run Recent Articles only on the journalists you plan to actually contact. No point researching people you won't pitch.
