Hey there,

Today we are introducing AI list cleaning: upload any media list as a CSV, and our agents clean it up and give you a vetted list in 5 minutes.

Here's how it works:

Upload a list of 200 names, and we'll find you the 20 people on there who will actually care. The other 180 are a bounced email, a wrong beat, or a journalist who left the industry in 2024. It no longer takes a week of tabs to find out.

Before:

After:

Every row comes back with:

✅ Name and publication verified

✅ Missing emails recovered (using a waterfall of 20+ email providers)

✅ Email verified

✅ Social profiles checked

✨ Relevancy to your story analyzed

✨ Personalized angle suggested

## We put an AI research agent on every single row

No one in the world has a fully up-to-date media database (even if the sales rep who sent you the $20k/year quote said otherwise)

The media world moves too fast for that.

This is why we compile all our information live, in real-time, the moment you ask for it.

Not a database lookup. For each contact, the agent works the row like a human researcher would.

Check the 19 steps this one agent did to research one name. Then we scale that to 200, automatically, in 5 minutes.

Easy rows take a few steps.

Hard ones — the freelancer who switched outlets twice, the editor whose byline went quiet — sometimes take the agent 30+ steps before it either verifies the contact or tells you it couldn't.

Open any row and click on "steps" to watch exactly what it did.

## Same cost as finding journalists

This new feature is now available in beta as the Journalist Enrichment columns, and costs the same with the current journalist finding workflow you're used to - 3 credits per row, with one exception:

No verified email = free.

Not discounted. Zero.

[Try it](https://medialyst.ai/app/_/workflow) → Click "Create from CSV" → Upload your CSV → "I'm pitching [your story here]. Review this list I got."

One prompt and you're pitching.

## The bigger story is what this unlocks next

This change came directly from feedback we hear over and over: you don't want Medialyst to just hand you a starting list — you want to run your whole media operation here, where you guide and agents execute.

Lists that live in one place, stay fresh, and get pitched. That's where we're headed.

Importing the lists you already have is just step one.

More coming next week.

P.S. Our [PR calendar](https://medialyst.ai/pr-calendar) now has over 1600 events! Thanks to [Jodi Lynn Karpes](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jodilynnkarpes/) who sent me a list of 600 events, awards, and trade shows she built over the years. Also [Jack Jacob](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jack-jacob-64b6291b3/) who helped shape the finance category with 200 more key dates. (drop me a note if you have ideas on what else we should add)

P.P.S. One of my favorite wins recently has been how Emily Carter pitched the "AI Doxxing" term as a trend and [landed both The Independent & New York Post with one pitch (case study)](https://medialyst.ai/case-studies/clearnym-ai-doxxing).
